User permissions
How roles and groups work to control access.
In Qube, permissions are based on Roles: every role has a name and defines read/write (CRUD) access to a module.
Multiple roles can be grouped into a Group, to assign them together more easily. A user can have roles assigned directly and/or inherited from one or more groups they belong to.
- 1Go to Security > Roles.
- 2Create a role with a name and read/write permissions on the relevant module.
- 3If you need to assign several roles together, group them into a Group.
- 4From the user's record, assign the roles or groups that person needs.
